Part 1: Thursday, April 4 from 3:10 PM – 4:20 PM
Part 2: Friday, April 5 from 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM

This two-part workshop will cover the basic skills needed for sound editing and best practices for conducting oral histories.  Day 1 will cover the basics of oral histories, and day 2 will focus on Audacity, a free and open-source digital audio editor and recording application software.  Attendance to both days is not necessary, though skills learned on day 1 will be utilized on day 2.
