An Ad-Hoc Impromptu Workshop and Discussion on Tactics and Strategies…(Because life comes at you fast)

Join Ryan Sablosky, Experimental Humanities Developer, for a workshop and discussion.

Learn about hands-on tactics and strategies relevant to online privacy and mitigating the potential threats of mass surveillance.
Topics will include:

How to think about and recognize systems of digital surveillance in your everyday lives

How to evaluate your own technology usage patterns, and how that usage interacts with systems of surveillance

Tools and methods to reduce or eliminate that interaction

Tools and methods for proactively increasing both your security, and the security of those you communicate with
The workshop is planned to last about one-and-a-half hours, and will give participants the opportunity to apply these tactics to their own personal devices.
